This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. "We" means Pixtachio, a trading name of Tim Hockham Professional Services Limited, the data controller for your information.
What we collect
- Start a project form: your name, email, business name, WhatsApp number, the package you picked and any brand playground picks (a colour palette and feel words). This creates your private questionnaire link, which we email to you.
- "Just a question?" form: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), business name, what you need and your message.
- Client questionnaire: the answers you give about your business, brand and website, and any files you upload (such as your logo or photos). Your answers save as you go, even before you press send.
- Basic server logs: your IP address is used briefly to stop spam and abuse (for example, limiting how often a form can be sent).
Why we use it
Only to reply to you and to design, build and look after your logo and website. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR islegitimate interests when you send a question, and steps towards a contract (then contract) when you start a project or become a client. We'll email or WhatsApp you about your project; we won't send you marketing. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Our fonts and animations are served from our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your details to anyone else. If you tap "No more tips" on Pix, your browser remembers that until you close the tab (this stays on your device and is never sent to us).
Your private questionnaire link works like a key: anyone who has it can see and change your answers, so please don't share it. We only store a scrambled version of it, and it stops working after 90 days.
Who else sees it
A small number of trusted services help us run the business: our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, UK region), our email provider (Google Workspace) and, when you pay, Stripe. They only process your information on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Questions and started projects that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept while you are a client and for six years afterwards, because UK tax law requires us to keep business records. Uploaded files are deleted when you leave, after we've given you a copy of everything that's yours.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or take a copy with you. Email hello@pixtach.io and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to theInformation Commissioner's Office (ICO).
